THRIMADHURA

Trimadhuram is an offering prepared by combining three sweet ingredients. These three sweets symbolize the unity of the body, mind, and soul. Sweetness represents peace and love. Through this offering, the simplicity and purity of devotion are expressed.

It is considered one of the most beloved offerings to Ma Saraswati. This offering is also commonly performed along with the Akshara Abhyasam / Vidyarambham ritual. Though simple, Thrimadhuram is a deeply devotional offering. It is regarded as a sweet offering made to receive Ma Saraswathi's love and blessings. It can be performed everyday.

GHEE PUDDING (NEI PAYASAM)

Nei Payasam is considered one of the most special offerings that can be made to Ma Saraswati. This sweet offering, prepared in a pure manner using ghee, rice, and jaggery, is believed by devotees to be especially dear to the Goddess. Ghee symbolizes purity and prosperity, while jaggery represents sweetness and abundance. It is believed that offering Nei Payasam brings prosperity, financial growth, family well-being, and peace.

Nei Payasam offering is a sweet expression of devotion. It is regarded as a pure offering made to receive the grace and compassion of the Goddess. At Avanancode Saraswathi Temple, Pindi Payasam (a variation of Nei Payasam) is especially beloved by the Goddess. These offerings can be performed daily. It is considered particularly auspicious to perform them on one’s birthday.
